Comments about Canon Starter Kit:
I absolutely LOVE it! I knew going in that this would be a monster of a bag but that was exactly what I was looking for. I recently purchased a Canon 50d with a kit lens plus a 100mm macro and a 50 f/1.4. To go along with that I have hoods for them all, charger, cords booklets..... Everything fits in the bag all nice, neat and organized with room to spare. I did notice that the first couple of times I had a hard time unlocking the buckles but it's now a thing of the past. My camera gear is nice and secure and I don't worry that my 3, 4 and 5 year old will be able to open up the bag and get into it. This is not a everyday travel bag for that I would look into something smaller. For me, this was an excellent purchase to keep all my gear together in one place.

Comments about Canon Starter Kit:
This is a great starter kit. The bag is large and easily fit my camera body, 2 lens, flash, the included extra battery, cards, charger, and random other items I have thrown in the bag. It is very well designed and the dividers inside can be moved to accomodate any combination of equipment. The side pockets are perfect for chargers, filters, or other smaller items. There is a zipped compartment inside perfect for camera cards. There is also a spot to hook a tripod! My husband commented how impressed he was with it. He didn't know I had ordered it and I had it sitting on the counter when he got home from work. The only downside to the bag: it is a little difficult to open. The snaps are metal and very durable, unfortunately they do not open as easily as I would like. For that, I took away one star because it would be perfect if I could open it faster! Even so, great bag and worth the purchase! I would definately purchase it again!

Well worth the money! The bag is durable, easy to customize, and lightweight. The extra camera battery alone would have made it worth the [$] to me and so far it has preformed excellently.

Comments about Canon Starter Kit:
This kit is a bang for the buck the bag itself is made from very weatherproof materials and has metal latches, its very sturdy. It can hold a 50d body and four lenses easily. The filter is perfect for the 28-135 and its a necessity. Finally the battery lasts a loooong time and this bundle is perfect dont even think about it, just wish the strap was a little longer but no biggy already got used to it.

Comments about Canon Starter Kit:
I purchased this kit for my 50D because initially I was looking for all three components seperately and this turned out to be an even better value. All included parts are OEM and when sold individually are much more expensive. I was surprised at how B&H is even cheaper than the MSRP given at full price it was a good value. The lens filter is perfect if you get the kit lens, the battery is also good if your out all day on a shoot...only complaint is when the bag is fully packed it can be quite heavy but there is no way around that and the shoulder padding makes it easier. It is a perfect size for all the necessary equipment and a few extras....there is no point in getting any other bag given how well built and suitable this is for the 50D. Excellent value from B&H.

Comments about Canon Starter Kit:
I recently purchased a whole new Camera System, Canon 50d, and needed a new bag to house my camera body, lenses and other accessories. After a few days searching the web and checking out bags in stores this bag kit with the UV filter and extra battery had the most "bang for your buck". Not only is the bag constructed very well, padding and pockets galore, rubber feet on the bottom, it also carries well on the shoulder because of the curved wide strap. While the bag alone goes for the kit price at some outlets the fact that it included an extra battery that is a Canon battery not an off brand, and a Canon Glass UV filter, 72mm, which is must for me to protect me lens added to the value of the kit overall.
My only complaint is about the bag. There is not a zipper around the top to seal everything in, so don't forget to clasp those front clasps because once the bag has some weight in it the Velcro alone will not cut it.
All and all if you just purchased a Canon 50d DSLR or other Canon that uses the included battery I would recommend this as a great starter bag.

Everyone should buy this case with their new Canon DSLR! [...] I bought the UV filter seperately. When I went online to bhphotovideo.com in order to find an extra battery, I found this case which is made for the Canon, has the Canon name, and includes an extra battery and filter.I now use my other case for video equipment, and the Canon case for my EOS-50D.

I got this because I didn't have a bag to begin with. It is a nice combo as I could always use an extra battery and filter.

This bag is very durable, no plastic latches or D-rings all metal. Lots of side compartments for extras. Only downside is the movable dividers could have been a little better in regard to configuration. Overall great bag.
