I like the fact that when I can use AC adapter I'm not running my batteries down, plus I can run longer than the battery. It works like it should and I can find nothing bad about it. To me the AC adapter is a must have item. I have seen in other reviews that it does not fit well in the camera. Not so for this one as it fits like a glove.

My business partner and I had a shoot where our camera couldn't move- it was key to the final product that nothing was disturbed- including the battery changing. The AC adapter saved us time and ultimately, helped us achieve a better product. Also, our level of professionalism was bumped up a few notches by not having to swap out charging batteries. Less useful if you are moving around a lot, but if the camera is stationary it works beautifully.

This is a handy tool for in studio photography or long time lapse videos. I think the price is a bit much for what you receive, but good still.

Fits easily into the camera and (so far) has no bugs. my only real complaint is that I wish it didn't come in three separate parts...seems like just two more chances to lose something during pack up.

My favorite part of using this is that I don't have to remove my battery grip! Great thinking Canon! My shoots often involve me having to wait on my subject to arrive, then step in front of the camera and expect me to be ready at a moment's notice. That can be nerve racking when you're forced to work on battery power. Really like being able to leave the 5D MkII on continuously without worrying about juice. Great product.

I'm producing a documentary film.
I couldn't find it in Malaysia. Even the Canon branch in Malaysia told me there is not any Adapter for Canon 60D!
I was lucky and I found it on this website.
It is so good when you want to record a film in the studio because you are not worry about your battery charge level.

What can anyone say about an AC adapter? It lets my 7D run from AC power. I suppose it would be helpful if it also had a battery charger as part of the unit like my old camcorder did. Then I could charge two batteries at once.

I run a photo booth style business so I purchased the ACK-E6 AC Adapter Kit by Canon. It is a great way to power my camera without draining the battery. I also got it because I was doing some stop motion animation and the process drained the battery very quickly. It's been very useful thus far, no complaints.

This is a great idea if you need to have your camera ready to go for video. Video eats up tons of you battery. Even with extra batteries, I had to get these. Some studio and site shots kill my battery. That's why i chose to buy a couple of these for my cameras. The only down side to this is you should not leave your camera going for long periods of time without letting it cool down. The camera sensor gets warm and can alter footage. Nothing major but something to think about with purchasing this. In other words just know your equipment and this will be a great add on for the camera. The other thing is that you'll have a cord dangeling out of the camera, but it's out of the way of the tripod.

Bought to do still life photography using live view function on Canon 5DMarkII. Works well; do not have to worry about battery going dead in the middle of you shooting. Would be nice if it had a pilot LED to see that it is on.

I use my Canon EOS 7D mounted on a surgical microscope ( in Dentistry ). For long shoots in 1080p is the perfect product.

Received the power adaptor kit and shot a 3 hour seminar session with it using the Canon 7D - worked perfectly, allowing us to get the whole seminar recorded for editing effortlessly. Would not have been possible without the ACK-E6 Adaptor for my 7D.

Saves changing batteries during long video interview days. Cable from camera is thin and fragile. As per instructions beware of cable crimping.

The product itself is great, no hitches thus far in my use for time lapse photos. One downside is the price for the kit. A little expensive, and no other similar products.
