This Ikelite Pro-V8 LED Video Light with its sophisticated LED technology delivers a high level of performance. Three 5W LED diodes provide 510 lumens of light. The light output is the same over a 10-hour burn time. The LED diodes run at a cool temperature, so the light can be used above and below the surface.
The Pop Bead Flex Arm allows for perfect placement of the light and is easy to adjust. The arm is lightweight for travel and measures 9" (23cm) in overall length. Additional pop beads can be purchased in 4-piece sticks to extend the arm.
The 8 "C" cell configuration provides low weight and compact size. The Pro-V8 LED also features the Ikelite RCD quick release clamp system that makes opening and closing the battery compartment a snap. The Pro-V8's rotating switch and sliding lock allow for easy operation even when wearing bulky gloves. The rubber shroud protects the front lens while blocking distracting side reflections. All of these features make the Ikelite Pro-V8 LED a practical and convenient video light at a reasonable price.
Lights are extremely important for your underwater imaging system. The ocean is one big, blue filter. As you descend, the reds and oranges quickly become muted shades of blue and gray. Shining a color corrected light source on your subject will bring back your subject's natural color.

Comments about Ikelite 6320 Pro-V8 LED Video Light:
During a week-long dive cruise we had five of these light onboard. One broke (the LEDs broke - no visible damage, but something broke inside) when the boat crew dropped the light.
You need two of these to have enough light for video shooting. Even then amount of light is quite limited. Underwater, the angle of the beam is less than ideal. And the light produces a hot spot in the center. Not very hot but more than desirable for photo or video work.
Opening the light is not very easy. For moving the opening lever you need the right technique i.e. to push the lever with both thumbs with a lot of force.

Haven't had this item in the water yet but man, the amount of light this thing throws out, from three LED's no less, is IMPRESSIVE!
Of course, dedicated video lights are going to be brighter and last longer but for a low cost option to add some light to your underwater video footage, this appears to be the way to go!
I'm not particularly fond of the rather tight, focused harsh "flashlight" type beam so I've attached a thin layer of cheesecloth over the lens to help soften the light & to add some diffusion
The eight C cell batteries tend to make these lights a bit on the heavy side so be prepared for that with your mounting arrangements on your housing.

Used it during a dive to F4U corsair wreck in Oahu, HI
The beam is weak. For close up(less than 1 ft) photo/video is fine, the video shots are on the youtube.
I think duck tapeing couple of flash lights will work better. The ikelite flash light might be a better buy.
The problem might be that the beam is too wide. I will try to put a cone on the Pro-V8 during next dive to see if it helps.
On the plus side, the adjustments are easy underwater and the battery life seems very good.

this light is easy to use and is easy to change the batteries. The light's power is not great but it is only 6 wattts.

Used as dive video light. For an inexpensive unit it seems to work well. The adjustable risers move more easily than I would like. Only used once, but seems to preform well.

Comments about Ikelite 6320 Pro-V8 LED Video Light:
Let's start with the power consumption--superb. 10-hours on a set of batteries. Okay so it eats eight. But I could get through a week of diving on one set of batteries. I am not thrilled with the pop-bead arm. It works but time will be a test of durability. I like the ability of being able to break down the light for packing within my luggage.
