The Ikelite W-20 is a high quality wide-angle conversion lens that works on many housings with ports that have a 46mm thread. The lens has a magnification of 0.56x.

I am a novice diver taking pictures underwater for the first time.
I used a nikon coolpix S550 with a housing and strobe by Ikelite.
This wide lens allowed me to get really close to the subject. That was very important since the environment was very dark and silty.
I love the fact it is heavy because it compensates for the positive buoyancy of the camera housing and strobe
