I experienced finally it and there is very good similarity to me in the photographic results.

Although with little light its handling is difficult, for me is not much inconvenient
since I try to make natural photography with very good conditions of light.

I use it for sports and wildlife and realy enjoy it. AF is fast and make about no noise at all so it's very good for nature shooting.

This is an excellent lens for wildlife photography. The zoom range is ideal for moving objects such as birds. It is fabulous at airshows. The only drawback is that, like many high quality telephoto lenses, it is somewhat heavy. This could be a problem if it is carried for several hours at a time.

I'm a photographer who loves birds. This lens gets me shots impossible w/a 300mm lens and sharper shots within the range. Its easy to use even hand held.

Build quality appears to excellent. AF is fast. Pictures are sharp. Now if it was only 3 pounds lighter it would be a killer lens.

I bought a binoculars harness and I walk around for hours not noticing the weight of my new K20 and this long heavy lens.

Be aware that the white spot on the top of the lens is the equivalent of the red dot on a pentax lens. Line up red to white the lens fits the camera nicely.
