These zippered bags are perfect for those small items that otherwise rattle around in a camera bag, and they are soft enough to provide at least a thin layer of protection. I use one for a wireless mic set, another for a small light, and so on. A mild negative: Their felt-like surface is also a magnet for lint and dog hair. I purchased key-chain tags separately to label them, because, obviously, they all look alike.

I got a set of PortaBrace stuff sacks with the purchase of a larger PortaBrace case. At first I was concerned because they all look alike, and I was afraid of wasting time looking through all everytime I needed something from one. These little sacks turn out to be perfect for storing a bunch of GoPro cameras, however. And the GoPros need protection, with their exposed optical port on the waterproof housing. Turns out to be a neat solution.
