proDAD Mercalli Expert
ProDAD's Mercalli Expert is an easy to use yet highly effective video stabilization software. Every video editor has experienced the problem of getting some great footage only to find later in editing that it's shaky. Mercalli uses pre-set profiles to quickly and easily take the shake right out of the video. It includes bonus Video Shaker Expert to add shake to video if desired. Plug-in support for use with Adobe Premier/Pro/Elements/After Effects, AVID Liquid, Canopus Edius/Edius NEO and Sony Vegas/Vegas Pro NLE applications (MS Windows only).

I tried Videostudio, Pinnacle and they don't quite stabilize video from shake well. Mercalli is the best plugin I have tried. With various settings, it can make the image pretty close to static unless extreme image shaking is encountered. Video from a moving car came out very smooth. It can handle panning and zooming well.For Pinnacle, you need to buy the basic from Pinnacle and upgrade to expert from ProDad if you want. I didn't know this and ProDad offered to work with Pinnacle to provide me a free plugin at no cost. This is some customer service provided they followup on the promise.

I got this to help with some wedding video and it was so easy to use and it worked. I loved that you could use it quickly to fix the shake of the camera and I even used the more avanced part and I was able to tweak it to get it to work even more precise.
