The Giottos MTL-8350B Professional Carbon Fiber Tripod is a sturdy, lightweight, yet affordable tripod. The flip leg locks follow a special design that makes the legs less prone to damage from particulate matter like sand and dirt. The leg sections feature an anti-twist design, and lock into three angled positions.
The leg materials are made of French-made high-strength carbon fiber tubing commonly used in aerospace engineering. It yields exceptional stability for its supremely light weight. Carbon fiber materials absorb shock and vibration that would otherwise mar an exposure. The carbon fiber tubes used is constructed from twelve layers, and the spiral grain is visible on the surface giving it its high-tech look.
- Grooved center column with wheel ring safely locks the shaft in place and prevents accidental removal.
- Unique center column with 180° vertical and 360° horizontal rotation.
- Extras include a built-in bubble level, a retractable hook for counterweights, and anti-twist screws for mounting the head of your choice.
