Although I primarily use a Nikon D200, there are occasions when I need one or two photos quickly. Polaroid used to fulfill this need. However, with the discontinuance of Polaroid instant film, I needed a substitute. Several years ago, I bought an Instax camera in Europe out of curiosity. Much to my surprise, the quality of the photos was extremely high. Very sharp, almost no grain, and very accurate colors. The picture compare favorably to 35mm photos and surpass both Polaroid integral and peel-apart film. This system isn't for everyone. But for those who have a need for instant photos, you will not be disappointed. Rather, you will be exceptionally delighted.

Color rendition is excellent under tungsten and fluorescent -- haven't tried daylight yet.
If you want instant film this is the only one easily available in the US, so you have to work around the Fuji cameras' limitations or give up on instant. I've decided I really want a Polaroid-like camera, so I'm learning how to use the Instax camera as well as I can.

easy to use, just pop the cartridge into the camera and snap away. remember to use the extra snap on for close up pics. the first shot of each new cartridge is a blank plastic sheet. great price and fast shipping

I use my fuji instanx camera (with the fuji instax film) for all sorts of occasions and i'm very please with the results. It's a great alternative to the polaroid. I was also very pleased with the delivery time. I received my product much faster than I thought I would (stocking up for the holidays)

I got hooked on Fuji Instax a few years ago when I picked up an Instax 200 wide camera and some film. I was a long time fan of SX-70 but was finding it increasingly difficult to get film. Anything I could find also tended to carry a big fat price tag. I never thought I could ever replace the look and feel of SX-70 until I got my hands on the Fuji Instax products. The cameras are fully automatic but offer some control. The film is sharp and fast. A little technique will also allow you to vary the overall look and color of your images from colors that pop to that muted, old school dreamy fade. This stuff is fun. And instant!

I own a lot of high end photo gear but when I saw the new instant camera from Fuji I knew I had to own it. The film produces the richest colors I have seen in a while and it is just a lot of fun to use.
Buy both the camera and plenty of film. You will not be sorry

I really enjoy the immediacy of instant photography, so when I finally caved in and bought an Instax camera to replace the old Polaroid I had high hopes.
I find this film to be an awkward size. Not just in comparison to the Polaroid 600 that I am used to, but in general. It is useful for landscape photography or, turned on its side, makes a decent portrait. But really I don't understand why this is the one size that they settled on for this camera.
The colors are kind of dull but I am new with the film and associated camera, so I expect to figure out how to get better results in time.
Conclusively I find this film adequate but kind of disappointing. It gets three big enthusiastic stars for being the only game in town and allowing instant aficionados to continue to indulge their pleasure.

Simple s pie to install in the camera. Line up the yellow lines, and pop it in. Remember that the first frame is part of the black casing that the film is stored in, and not an actual photo. Love these pictures. Great tone in the image. Can't go wrong. Get 'em now, and get two!

I am a fine artist and mostly use this film to shoot landscapes. This film is great for shooting landscape because it is more panoramic in nature compared to any of the original integral films ever made. I come from a cinema background and love movies like Lawrence of Arabia and anything Kubrick so working in this aspect ratio with instant film is interesting. This film is also available FRESH so you don't have to worry about reliability. It also seems very sharp compared to the original integral film. Something I don't like about this film is that it seems extremely cool in tone, to the extent that I have had a notoriously hard time working with it and getting the results I want, but I heavily favor warm tones so I may have a heavily biased opinion.

dispite the comically large cameras that use this film, I have enjoyed taking this film, loaded into my Fujifilm 210, everywhere. B&H had the best price anywhere. Living in Japan you would thing the film would be cheaper, but it's not. typically at most camera shops the "twin pack" goes for about 3000 yen.
