Lasted almost as long as a Canon LP-E6 during a day of video shooting. Great bargain if you need some back up batteries in your reserve.
It will surely lose its charge much quicker after prolonged use, however. If you want batteries with very long life spans, buy the Canons.

I have used 5 of these batteries between two 7D bodies for the last month. These batteries appear to have a fatal power delivery problem either with the contacts or with the internals. DO NOT expect video to work reliably with these batteries. I have received multiple "File error" corrupted clips while shooting on these batteries. I have never received a corrupt file using a canon battery. Photos appear okay, although the MIRROR DRAGS about 1 in 100 exposures when using these batteries. This is a sure sign of a power issue, and could easily corrupt a photography file but it hasn't happened yet. This is not a good product. And the Pearstone charger does not work properly either, it is extremely sensitive to touch. I have returned all these products and replaced with proper Canon

I purchased 2 of these batteries and one did not comunicate with my camera. I acctually got the message that it would not comunicate and would I like to proceed. I did not and sent it back. I had a wedding to shoot or I would have sent both back and purchased a canon battery. The second one worked fine though.

got this battery to supplement the running time of a canon camera and it did just that. this battery was about half the price of the canon battery and its running time was pretty much equal. now will it last as long as the canon battery 5 years down the line? maybe. i cant say, but for the price, i can't complain.

I purchased for a young Filipino man who is trying to expand his business. He e-mailed me knowing I was coming to Dumaguete on a missions trip to purchase for him. You can't beat the price of these batteries.
I picked up two of them to use as back-ups for my canon battery in my 7D.
The don't last 100% as long as Canon's but they are close enough for the price.

Strong and durable, this battery works as well as the more expensive one that comes with a name brand on it. One good tip is to wait for it to fully empty its power before recharging it, if not it will lose charge life...

it works great on my canon 5dii which is attached to a vello battery grip. I use both batteries and on my first charge, it lasted four days with close to 500 shots, along with 20 minutes of long exposures.(all shots using large .raw) The battery still has close to 20% charge with complete battery information available for viewing.
I recommend this battery for those on a budget and will definitely purchase again with no hesitation.
I rated the product a four star because the battery did not come with a plastic (yellow)battery holder
