Canon's LUCIA Pigment-based ink system coats each pigment particle with an advanced polymer compound; increasing fade resistance and protecting your prints from scratching. Eight individual ink tanks allow you to replace only the inks you use. With the iPF6000S, you can even replace ink tanks mid-print without having to worry about inconsistent color shifts or starting the job over. Economy Color Mode produces professional quality prints while reducing ink consumption by up to 20%--good news for the environment and your wallet.

- The iPF6000S printer has built-in calibration sensors that accurately detect variation in the print heads and measure the density levels of the inks. This allows the printer to recalibrate itself to original factory settings and apply any necessary adjustments to create a stable, predictable printing platform on which superior results can be achieved.

- The Lucia pigment-based ink system has WIR Display Permanence Ratings in excess of 100 years for color and black & white images when printing on select Canon photo and fine art papers.
