Aiptek Hi-Speed HD 720p Camcorder
Aiptek's Hi-Speed HD 720p Camcorder offers up HD video for the budget consumer. The camera captures up to 60 minutes of 720P, 30 fps video to the internal 2GB memory. When using a 32GB SDHC card up to 960 minutes of video can be recorded on the same setting. In addition, over 29,000 3Mp still photos and 8,000 MP3s can be stored using a 32GB card, making the Hi-Speed HD more than just a camcorder.
Other notable features include the 2.4" 270° swivel LCD screen, Night Shot mode for recording in low light, and an HDTV output for watching your video and stills with friends on your HDTV. An external microphone jack enables higher quality sound recording while a headphone jack allows for private listening of recordings or MP3s.

I use the AIPTEK HI-SPEED HD 720p for multi-media recording of still photos,HD-video and voice recording. AT best use. still photos, HD video clips(0 to 127 seconds mini-docmentary)of what you like. AT fair use. All above mentioned. not for those looking for e-z push button,but overall for it size and capability, a true gift giver find.

I purchased this for my not so tech savvy husband. It is simple to use, compact and lightweight. We first used it this past July at the Daytona NASCAR race, and were able to zoom in to each of the pit stops for great footage. We were up high, but with the zoom I was able to capture the entire wreck at the end of the race which came out crystal clear and up close and personal. My friends and co-workers were very impressed.
Pros:
Lightweight easy to use
Great features with included software such as capturing still shots from video (which are also crystal clear!)
Takes still photos as well
Long battery life - and quick to charge
Cons:
Plastic construction - so far so good, but I wouldn't drop it too often
Shutter button for still images is in an awkward place

I bought this just to test out HD before I order my HV30. You definitely get what you pay for.
It shoots real nice footage outside in the sun light. It shoots in HD at 720 p which is great.
The mic is terrible. I mean real terrible. But the great thing about this cam is it comes with a plug in so you can plug up a mic.
Its light and not all that durable though.
But if you buy a mic to plug in and use it in the sun light then you can make it work.
The 2gb storage is nice that it already comes with. The battery life seems to last a long time also.
