Bags seem to be made fairly well. The price and quality are appropriate to one another. It's nice to have the double zipper feature to empty bags for travel. Filled the 5 pound bag with 15 pounds of steel shot. No problems with the stitching or zippers yet.

I have stands all over my studio that were precariously poised at best. Hanging these sandbags on them made them so much more stable. They seem well made and have a double zipper on each pouch which secures the sand (or whatever weight you choose to use) without leakage.

Great for the price. Good to use. But logo printing is poor. The way how logo is stiched is ugly. If you are a professional photographer, get other product because it is not good looking.

I had a tripod tip in a gust of wind. Fortunately I was there and caught it. This is just the right size to hang on the hook and provide ballast.

I had been using heavy plastic bags or extra canvas bags I had laying around to weigh down light stands. Figured it was time to get something more suited for the purpose. These are well made and very inexpensive. I have no regrets!

These are tough and well made. They were too small for the weight I need as they were only rated for 5 pounds. But by adding reclaimed lead shot instead of sand, I increased that to 12.5 pounds. The double zipper guarantees no spillage. Good product.

I bought 3 of these for each of my 3 point lights. These lights are not very heavy but can get a little top heavy. 5 lbs in each bag easily stabilizes the lights. I used 5 lbs of aquarium gravel in quart sized plastic bags in each bag. The bag itself is quality made - no issues at all.

These bags are awesome for putting on the base of light stands. They are small and easy to carry around. Defiantly worth the purchase

I bought several bags to compare features. This one is ok, but I prefer the Giottos.
The holding pouches are lined, and have two reversed zippers each to prevent sand from pouring out, but they aren't really that close fitting. I put the weight media into polypropylene bags first, and then into the pouches, to be safe. Seems fairly well made.
FWIW, I wanted compact heavy bags, so I loaded the pouches with lead shot instead of sand. So this now weighs 10lbs instead of 5.

I use this with a lightweight lightstand for strobist lighting with a small umbrella.

I use this to hold down my light stands that hold up my light and soft boxes. They work as advertised and have a nice double zipper system to keep from spilling out your ballast. Works well with smaller light stands.

I have purchased 15lb bags prior to these and was just as pleased. the double zipper setup for each pouch makes it so that you need not worry about that area giving way after a long period of use. It is extra reinforcement at that seem (a single zipper would eventually pull apart...especially on larger capacity/weight bags). Excellent dutrability too.

These sandbags were worth it, they were much cheaper than already filled bags and cheaper to ship. Sand was cheap and they were easy to fill, they also hold more than 5lbs if you fill them properly. Their double zipper feature is nice, a good way to keep them from bursting open, they are perfect as weights, the only way they could be better is if they were slightly wider, which would give them a little more surface to sit on when resting on a tripod leg. But they do work perfectly fine. 4 Stars

Great product and serves it's purpose to weight down and stabilize your tripod, background stands etc. I filled mine with play sand. It has dual zippers on each side to keep the contents from spilling.

I use these bags to secure my portable light stands when I'm using speedlights. Just big enough, they hold just enough weight and can't be beat for the price.
