The 6500 UB puts engineering ingenuity at the service of theater and art. Top-of-the-line technologies are brought to bear, beginning with its 2.1x Fujinon zoom lens, used throughout Hollywood on film productions.
3LCD technology, with a 3 chip optical engine superior to color wheel designs, delivers high color and white light output. In fact, Epson's combined technologies increase the color gamut to 115% of the NTSC standard. The projector maximizes the powerful 1600 ANSI lumens with an advanced iris to control light intensity, and UltraBlack technology to produce an astounding 75,000:1 contrast ratio.
A proprietary lamp provides consistent corner-to-corner output, using the least amount of power. FineFrame processing offers full HD 1080p performance with 24fps and HDMI 1.3 compatibility to optimize Blu-ray cinematic performance as well as gaming.
