The Monostat RS16 Pro ART Monopod is a full-height monopod that offers ultra-steady positioning due to its unique "Swivel Toe Stabilizer" foot. Due to the ball-socket friction-bearing design of the foot, involuntary movements around the longitudinal axis of the leg are prevented while obtaining smooth motion in the horizontal axis for the purpose of following moving objects, or shooting panoramic views. This ensures steady shots even in the most extreme telephoto positions.
This version also includes the ART (Anti Rotation Tubing) design. This improved Anti Rotation Tubing design allows for faster and easier setups. Simply turn all of the locking rings at once and the whole leg can be pulled out in seconds.

Great product, very strong worked with ease. I had my Canon 5DM2 with 70-200 f/2.8 IS on it and it felt very stable. I was shooting my Granddaughters horse show;the barrel racing event and the large swivel foot worked great for panning the action. Would highly recommend this product.

Used to have an "old" Monostat Professional and was always very pleased with its performance, especially because of its superb rubber foot construction. Now I bought myself the new ART version - great - no more hassle with rotation of the tubes. This is really a fine product and I am very pleased to own one!!

This Monostat monopod performs exactly as advertized.
I strongly appreciate the rubber stabilizing foot on the bottom, it really works. On my first shoot with it, I was shooting at the beach. The Monostat did not slip at all, even on sandy concrete and on wet surfaces. I love it when a product delivers on its claims; the Monostat delivers indeed.
I have tried many monopods over the years and the Monostat is clearly the best. For long shooting sessions with my 70-200 f/2.8 IS, it is the only way to fly. When I decided I needed a better monopod, I researched them thoroughly and I stumbled across a link to a review of one and was impressed with what the reviewer said. I looked at the Monostat.us website and started comparing the specs with other brands. I was pleased to see that Monostat made a 3 section version with anti rotation legs, as I was looking for a monopod that will set up fast.
In addition, the Monostat monopods have a 30 pound load capacity! It stood nicely locked in place even when I combined my EOS 5D Mark II with my EF 400mm, that is really impressive.

I bought this monopod two weeks ago. I wanted a sturdy monopod that will easily hold my heavy gear (roughly 15lbs.) and provide stability.
This one really does it! It's extremely sturdy and stable, something you would expect when paying $$$.

I put 14 pounds of camera on this, hoisted it over my shoulder and
discovered how poorly made this is. Fortunately I caught my lens in
time. The tripod screw is held on by three very small screws with no
margin around them. Don't trust your equipment with this monopod!
