The JVC VRN1600U150 is an appliance NVR that boasts reliability, usability and scalability - an integrator's dream come true. The VRN1600U150 is a 16-channel Network Video Recorder (NVR) that can be used in a large surveillance system, but is easy enough to use and manage to be installed in small-to-medium applications as well. The VRN1600U150 comes pre-installed with industry-leading Milestone XProtect Enterprise which provides advanced functionality in a well designed Graphical User Interface (GUI) that allows for all users to be using advanced features with minimal training. The front panel of the unit also provides easy to use controls including a jog shuttle and VCR-like buttons.
The VRN1600U150 records up to 160 ips (images per second) at VGA quality, and the video can be exported via one of the USB 2.0 ports to an external DVD drive. Additionally, the unit supports Network Attached Storage (NAS) and and secured data backup with RAID.
The VR-N1600 is open platform to make it easy to integrate with an external system such as access control systems, POS systems or ATM systems. It also supports not only JVC IP cameras but also dedicated third party cameras including Verint and Axis.
