The Desktop Konnekt 6 from tc electronic is a FireWire based digital audio interface for both the Mac and Windows based computer systems. Housed in a compact desktop enclosure, the interface allows the user to connect to a microphone and an instrument/line input, or to 2 instrument/line inputs.
A high-resolution meter and big volume knob provide both visual feedback and tactile control over the recoding process. Balanced outputs match any powered speakers or power amplifiers and the headphone output has a separate converter which allows for a different mix to be present at that output.

- Three independent scenes or "setups" provide quick setup of the inputs with the default presets being for microphone and guitar, two guitars/basses, and a stereo line signal
- Control panel software provides full control over the monitor mix, including the M40 Studio Reverb
- Included DVD contains software drivers for the Konnekt 6 interface and a cross-platform copy of Steinberg's Cubase LE digital audio software
