The high-performance Leica D-LUX 4 Digital Camera incorporates a Wide -angle DC Vario-Summicron lens with a focal length equivalent from 24 to 60mm, allowing for creative picture composition. The camera also possesses a powerful CCD Image sensor that provides 10.1 Megapixels of effective resolution to ensure superb image detail. Furthermore, the integrated optical picture stabilizer gives the user additional protection against camera shake in all photography situations, even under difficult lighting conditions.
The camera can capture images in three picture formats (16:9, 3:2 and 4:3) and can capture video clips as well in both standard and wide format - even in HD. Plus an optional cable is available to allow users to view images and video clips on an HDTV. The large 3.0" LCD display provides full coverage for a picture to be displayed in 16:9 format. The image signal processor has also been improved in comparison to its predecessor model, delivering even faster image processing within the camera, thereby allowing the D-LUX 4 to respond quickly and reliably at any moment.
The Leica D-LUX 4 is also a very versatile camera, allowing users to manually adjust exposure settings, plus there is a full range of automatic and scene settings available to cover just about any shooting situation one may encounter. There are even a number of accessories available that will make your shooting experience more in tune with your specific needs. These accessories include an external flash unit that provides full TTL-Flash exposure control, an attachable viewfinder with a 24-mm LED display to aid framing, even in extreme light situations, a hand grip to allow for more comfortable handling of the camera, as well as other accessory options such as cases and memory cards - making the Leica D-LUX 4 a full camera system, not just a Point-and-shoot.

Comments about Leica D-LUX 4 Digital Camera (Titanium):
Nice Camera, Needs More opp for lenses, no real zoom, if you do zoom pics get distorted. other than that I love the gunmetal look and nice compact. The HD video is cool to.

Comments about Leica D-LUX 4 Digital Camera (Titanium):
I AM THE FIRST TO REVIEW THIS BABY ON THIS HERE SITE AND ONE OF THE LAST TO BUY IT HERE AT B&H UNLESS THEY GET MORE IN STOCK, "DOUBT IT SINCE IT IS LIMITED", AND I HAVE TO SAY YES IT WAS WELL WORTH IT SO FAR. THE CAMERA HAS A NICE STURDY LOOK TO IT. I DO NOT KNOW IF IT IS REAL TITANIUM BUT I LIKE THE DESIGN. IT LOOKS MORE LIKE GUN METAL LOOK THAN A TITANIUM LOOK WHICH I LIKE THE GUN METAL THAN TI. THAT IS ALL YOU ARE REALLY PAYING THE EXTRA [$]TOO THE LOOK AND THE NICE CASE. I HAVE OWNED THE CAMERA FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS NOW ANDHAVE BEEN TRYING TO WORK MY WAY THROUGH ALL THE MENUS, THAT CAN BE QUITE CONFUSING EVEN IF YOU READ THE MANUAL. BUT ONCE YOU GET PAST THAT IT IS A GREAT POINT & SHOOT WITH A LOT OF ADDED MENU FEATURES THAT GIVE A AMATEUR OR A PRO THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET CREATIVE. SINCE IT IS NOT A SLR YOU CAN NOT CHANGE LENS BUT WITH A ADAPTER YOU CAN ADD 3RD PARTY SIMPLE LENSES. THE QUALITY OF THE PICS ARE NICE YOU CAN GET A GOOD 10MP PIC AT MAX, BUT THE LEICA SENSOR MAKES THE PIXELS A BIT LARGER THAN THE AVERAGE SO BETTER FOR LARGE PRINTS. BUT IF YOU ARE A PERSON THAT LOVES A ZOOM LENS THIS CAMERA IS NOT FOR YOU! AT ONLY 2.5 ZOOM IT DOES NOT GIVE A LOT OF PLAY IN THAT AREA. YOU CAN ZOOM IN POST BETTER BUT YOU MAY LOOSE QUALITY IN THE PRINT. YOU CAN ALSO GET A EXTRA MAGNIFY OF X2 WITH 3RD PARTY LENS THAT HELPS TO.BUT THE CAMERA IS THE SAME AS THE BASIC DLUX 4 OR LX3 EVEN JUST WITHOUT THE SLEEK CASE..ANYWAY I AM ENJOYING IT SO FAR.
