Comments about Xenonics NightHunter Tactical IR Illuminator:
Great for any IR device. I use it with the IR night vision camcorder I bought form B&H for ghost hunting and using surefire batteries makes finding batteries easy, no obscure sizes or types! It is very powerful, almost too powerful using the low or medium setting is plenty of illumination for medium range filming. The slide focus is annoying as it slides into a focused beam when I film object down low on tables or floors but its an easy fix if it bothers you like it did me just remove the lens and lens housing put some scotch tape around the boby and slide the lens housing back on and.. done! it won't slide a bit and wil saty in the "flood light" position.
