The Splash Underwater Color Calibration Chart from DSC Labs is designed to address the unique needs of color calibration in aquatic production environments. The chart offers a comprehensive array of color swatches and test patterns on a single board, making calibration possible without the need to flip pages or change charts.
The chart itself is constructed from a glossy water-repellent acrylic substrate. Color patches include wide dynamic range 5-step grayscale, spectrophotometrically neutral gray patches, and (6) primary vector & (6) intermediate colors. Collectively, all of the front-panel color patches average out to offer a white balance reference point and the entire back panel features a white reference field. The chart comes pre-punched for use with a lanyard.

Comments about DSC Labs Splash Underwater Color Calibration Chart:
I have set White Balance for my underwater videos using other white plastic slates but so far find this slate to work the best. There are two sides, a totally white side called CamWhite, and the Calibration chart side. Set your WB on the white slate, then turn over and take a few seconds video of the chart and use that to adjust in post production. Appears well made, but have only used on 2 dives so far.
