Marshall's Professional Details
Marshall Electronics builds their LCDs for professional applications and convenient, user friendly operation. In addition to wide viewing angles both horizontally and vertically, Marshall uses advanced techniques to improve image quality when scaling different resolution formats.
In-Monitor Display Functions
The monitor has the ability to display UMD data directly on the monitor, making it easier to access vital information such as Tally and audio levels. The display also frees up valuable space in racks and on desks, keeping many standalone monitoring units directly inside on the LCD.
Convenient On-Screen Menu
Control the monitor using Marshall's easy-to-use menu system with controls provided on the front of the panel. The new RotoMenu system makes moving through the monitors menu system quick and easy.
Automatic NTSC or PAL Recognition
The V-R201-IMD-TE accepts both NTSC and PAL standard signals. Conveniently, the monitor will automatically detect which standard it is being fed without having to push a button, flip a switch or access a menu option.
Rack Mountable
The LCD can be mounted using several different methods. It can easily be placed on any desktop with an optional desktop stand. For studios and smaller areas, the monitor has mounting brackets for a standard 19" racking system, using 4RU. You can also use the monitor with any standard VESA mounting bracket for connecting to walls or desks.
Long Life Panel
The unit incorporates high quality LCD panels that provide operation for years with regular usage. The monitors deliver a service life of 50,000 hours; over 2000 days continuously! That's almost 6 years; Broken down to 8-hour days, the monitor should be operational for about 15 years. Wow.
Remote Access
The LCD can be controlled remotely though either the RS-422 or RS-485 protocols.
