Olympus AS-5000 PC Transcription Kit

The AS-5000 PC Transcription Kit from Olympus is specifically designed for use with the DS-5000 digital voice recorder or other professional digital voice recorders from Olympus. Compatible with a wide array of audio formats, the AS-5000 plays audio in the background while your word processor or other application runs, allowing for easy and fast transcription of notes. Use the included foot switch to control the playback process. The device can receive dictation files and send out finished documents via email or FTP. When a new dictation file arrives a visual or audio signal will alert you.

The AS-5000 also includes an indicator that informs you of transcribing time left. Automatic Internet software updates keep things up to date and running smoothly, while features such as the search filter and background dictation notification support make your job easier. It is important to note that while the device is Windows and Mac compatible, most functions are Windows only. The AS-5000 supports Citrix and Terminal Service.
