The 1TB DriveStation Combo HD-CEIU2 External Hard Drive from Buffalo is a high-capacity external hard drive. It features an interface that allows it to be connected via FireWire-400 or USB 2.0, and a rotation speed of 7200rpm.

Had to reformat the drive for Mac (Extended & Journaled) but once done it is working very well. Nice and quiet and starts up very quickly. So far so good.

I am using this as a media (video) storage for PC. I really like the storage space it offers for the price but it is formatted as FAT32 so in order to use it as video storage for editing, you need to reformat it as NTFS. It is not a big deal if you have time and patience to reformat the drive, but I wish it was done from the outset. Also, I had a compatibility issue with a consumer level video editing program when it is connected via Firewire. It worked via USB however. Having multiple cable options as well as power options (off, auto, on) was a plus for me. Over all, it is really good.
