I have one of these on each one of my cameras. It saves wear and tear on the camera jack itself since I'm constantly plugging and unplugging headphones. It's cheap enough to buy extras.

Great Product! Paired with the Sansa Clip+ player and Shure SE530 earphone. The cord is just the right length to attached the clip+ to my shirt shoulder sleeve and it won't get tangled, perfect for working out at the gym. Solid as a rock and tough build quality.
