The Sony Dock Speaker System for iPod and iPhone is a powerful, yet compact system for amplifying your iPod, iPhone, or other MP3 players. The sound quality is quite good for most types of music and well worth the price. The unit is relatively compact and neat looking. Very easy to setup.
The major problem I have found so far is fitting my I Pod touch into the unit. One must remove any protective cover and select the correct adapter. However, the I Pod must be placed carefully into the unit. This requires two hands and often several attempts.

What a great way to use XM on the iphone! It has a rich, lush tone and worked perfectly for a party we gave last weekend. I positioned it in the kitchen and could hear it very well in all the various rooms. My daughter already owned two of these and loves it. I enjoyed hers so much when we were visiting I had to get one of my own. You won't be disappointed with the sound coming from this small box. Give it a try!

I don't have a radio at home, so I use it to play radio via my Iphone in the living room. It's simple and easy to setup. It looks better than most products in the market. It have a lot of different clip for different Apple products, but on the other hands, I need to change the clip if I need to change from an Iphone to Ipod.

I bought the Sony Speaker Dock for use with my iPod Touch in my office at work. The classic black finish goes with nearly any decor. The sound quality is fantastic at low volume (during the week) and much louder (on Saturday mornings). The remote is handy for muting when the phone rings.

We bought this for our kitchen. Our kitchen is very open and is almost a part of our livingroom. This iPod doc fills both with clear music, can go louder than we preffer. We use our iPhones on it and the remote works perfectly. Only docks I like more would have cost 3x as much.My only complaint if you can even call it that is that the docking plates are made to fit the iPod devices. I have a case on my iPhone and had to leave off the plate to make it fit... But really is not a problem.[...]Highly recomended if you don't have or want to spend $300.!
