Alesis MicLink - XLR to USB Cable
The MicLink from Alesis is as an elegant a solution as it is simple for directly recording a microphone signal into a computer. Perfect for pod-casting or for singing practice, the cable allows any dynamic microphone to plug directly into a Mac or Windows based computer.
The cable contains its own analog-to-digital converter and delivers 16-bit/44.1kHz output. Any software that is USB class-compliant will recognize the MicLink as an input source.

Easy to use. I use this for voice-overs connected to a Sony ECM44B lapel mic. The sound is great.
Use with a lapel mic eliminates the hollow sound & popping "p's" with other USB mics. Reasonable price.
