Comments about Line 6 POD Studio GX - Recording Interface:
I've had it for about a week I'd say. Yea, only a week. what could I know right? In this week my concept of tonality and understanding has changed drastically just from the ease of accessibility in tone choice functions from the included Pod Farm program. From the simplest of acoustic tones to something that borders on an orchestra type sound.(very heavy violin sound maybe) Even been able to create almost synth-like stuff with it.(May not be your thing but speaks volumes for the versatility.) I'd dare say you're only limited to the extent of what you mind can create with it. Of course you can bring the metal "crunch" and those "warm" leads also. Even with the crunch there is also wonderful clarity even in larger chords. Great quality overall. I was unsure about getting it before, but all that dissipated once I jumped in. It's the best thing for my music I've bought yet.

Comments about Line 6 POD Studio GX - Recording Interface:
I've owned the POD Studio GX for a little over two weeks now, and I still haven't tried out all the bells and whistles. The software runs great, and the interface is fairly simple. Being an acoustic player most of my life, I'm just getting into electric guitar, and this is a great way to hear and experiment with different effects and amps without spending a small fortune.

Comments about Line 6 POD Studio GX - Recording Interface:
I love this device. I was first going to get the UX1 but I don't need to hook up a mike through it at this time. I also could't beat the price. It was $30 cheaper here than anywhere else on the net. It is easy to use and setup. It comes with ample software and will keep you busy for a long time. I had some latency issues at first but they were easily adjusted on the menu. I love it. Great buy.

Comments about Line 6 POD Studio GX - Recording Interface:
I am just starting out playing guitar. I have been an electronic musician for the past 20 years with Propellerhead Reason being my favorite VST. Line 6 has created an excellent connection with Reason/Record through either the POD software or through the Line 6 rack module in Reason. Setup was very straightforward and worked pretty much right out of the box. The unit is advertised as 'low latency', but my experience is ZERO latency. I tried a couple of other interfaces including two Behringer USB interfaces and they all had latency. I still have a lot to explore with this, but I am really amazed at the possibilities. The only issue I've had is that, when using the Studio GX as my sound card and monitoring it through the headphone jack, I have occassionally experienced a very loud pop. It's not recorded in the tracks, so I suspect it may be related somehow to the USB connection. The only real problem with it is that it scares the heck out of me!
