The Samsung LN26B360 is one of a new generation of Samsung LCD TVs. These TVs use Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFL) that offer longer life and lower energy consumption than other technologies.
The built-in digital tuner means you don't need a set-top box to watch digital TV. This is a true 720p HDTV, designed from the ground up for maximum entertainment value. The SRS TruSurround HD Audio Output helps create a large enveloping sound field from only two speakers.
The LN26B360 is an economical TV both to buy and to use; it's Energy Star compliant. As a first HDTV or one for the bedroom or den, it can't be beat. You get all of the features you'd expect in a big TV in a smaller set at a very affordable price.

I heard that when you get under a 32" TV that 720p vs 1080p doesnt make a difference. I dont know exactly what the 1080p looks like but the quality of the 720p isn't great. Its fine but sometimes it looks very grainy. Other then the quality, the TV looks great on my wall and was easy to set up. I have only used it to play DVDs.

This is a great TV. I put in my bedroom and it's the perfect size. The styling of the TV is a lot nicer than similarly priced TVs and almost all other entry-level HD LCDs.
The only drawback I've noticed so far is that there aren't any connections on the side. This isn't a dealbreaker for me because I'm not mounting it on the wall or plan on changing components often/at all. But if you need side inputs, look elsewhere.

- unit setup easily and programs easily. remote navigation is simple
- picture quality is very good, good deep blacks and contrasting whites. better than comparable V***O unit purchased from local store.
- sound is good. Not a fan of speakers that fire down at the base of the TV, but they work well for the small room we are in.
- good selection of inputs and like the access to inputs being on a visible plate vs. hidden under a lip of plastic.

Beautiful TV with a great picture. I used CNET's recommended picture settings, and everything looks amazing. Awesome colors, sharp picture, no motion blurring. I have a PC running Boxee hooked up to one of the HDMI ports, and it also looks good.
I wish the TV volume control also affected the external speakers. I ended up just setting the external speakers to a lower volume and using the TV volume (TV speakers) to increase the volume to whatever level I want.

This is the perfect TV for my small room. The colors are vibrant, the contrast is better than my girlfriend's Vizio. Right now I have it hooked up to my PC via HDMI cable, and am able to run Boxee on it. The other HDMI port is being used for my Xbox 360, which I use mostly to watch movies on via instant play netflix. So far I have no complaints, but I'll post here if anything goes wrong.

I purchased this TV so I could watch movies during my deployment. My LCD TV back home is a Samsung and its performance has been outstanding. Therefore, I tend to lead towards the Samsung products before looking at their competitors. I've had this TV for about a week now and it has performed exactly as described. The picture is very clear when watching movies. I don't have access to HD programming over here but I expect the picture will be equally clear. I have, however, connected my laptop to the PC connector on the back of the TV and had no problems running video/audio through it. I haven't found any negatives apart from the black surface on the TV is a dust magnet over here. Overall, I'm very happy with this TV and would recommend it to someone looking for a quality product.

I have had this TV for about 2 weeks now and have no complaints. It looks great, and it's the perfect size for our office/exercise room, though would be great in a bedroom too. The picture quality is superb, one of the best I have seen. For a non-1080p TV, this is one of the best deals you can get. Both HD and standard signals look great on this set, and it's actually one of the better displays of standard def images that I have seen.
