I bought this 32" TV for my son's high school graduation to take to college. We are avid sports watchers and he is a computer gamer. We have a 46" Samsung in the living room and have loved it for over a year. This 32" is just as great, only a little smaller for a dorm.

I found this TV as a replacement for my bedroom TV on Consumer Reports. It was the highest rated 32" unit. After installing it 3 weeks ago, my wife and myself love it, I have found no Cons to report at this time. If I needed one for another room I would buy this TV again.

I've only had it for a couple weeks now, but the picture is beautiful and it was easy to set up. I have my ps3 running into it via HDMI and I couldn't ask for better picture. The speakers aren't so great, but what do you expect from TV speakers.

I have to say that since the moment I received my new 32" LCD Samsung, I been impressed with every aspect of this unit. Very slick product with great features like the swivel base and the touch screen power bottoms.
I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a stylish LCD for a reasonable price.

I use this TV in my bedroom. The size is more than sufficient. Setup is simple. The only catch is telling the TV the source of the signal. There are numerous jacks and you have to tell the TV which one is connected to the signal. The sound could be a little stronger. But just turn up the sound a bit. There is no earphone jack in case you need to watch while someone else is sleeping. However, if you go to Samsung's website they tell you how to connect ear plugs though a cable and out audio in the back. It is simple to do and works perfectly. This is my first HD tv so I can not compare its picture to others but for me the picture is very clean and sharp. Buy a HDMI cable for setup.

This is a perfect size for our smaller basement. I was previoously using the Samsung T240HD, and this is a step up for TV viewing. The T240 is now back at my computer for full-time use. Even old vcr tapes look ok on this monitor. The audio isn't the greatest, but I plan on getting separate speakers eventually. Even my T240HD audio was improved by plugging in cheap computer speakers.

Love the physical appearance/design...it's hot. The image quality is not perfect (close-up), but it's still awesome for regular viewing. The colors and brightness are marvelous! No buyer's remorse here at all.

I had intended to buy a 120Hz model but the price point on this one made me give it a shot. Holy cow am I glad I tried this one! I use it primarily for gaming, watching DVDs and as a supplemental computer monitor and it does all with aplomb. The black levels are unbelievable and the action is very clear. The remote is very functional and the menus are easy to access and adjust. This is my second Samsung and I will remain a loyal fan. I highly recommend this set. The only drawback is the lack of illumination for the controls on the face of the cabinet. Momentary illumination would be a plus.

I previously had sony 32S5100 and had to return it because of poor picture quality, though it had good sound quality. this B550 is way better than any other 60Hz 1080P LCD tvs. PQ is great, I can not see any motion lagg even though its 60Hz. In sony the dark scenes were pathetic, you could clearly see black chips like structures, here its a lot less. Its outer cabinet is realy curvy and looks great. Its black shiny structure adds more to it. Remote looks great. You can light up the button at night, this feature is great, you can find buttons even at darkest of night. Matt finish of lcd screen removes most of the glare.Pictures are super sharp. I watched X-Man series and picture quality is great. You can set it up in differnt modes.Sound quality is a bit of low side, you need to increase the volume to a great extent to hear clearly. It lacks at least a S-Video port, I expected at this price at least this feature would be there. Most of other brands do have this feature at this price range.Over all I would rate it at 4.7 out of 5. .3 I am taking out bcoz of missing SVideo port thats all. Over all, B&H is the best seller i have ever had. This is not the first time i have done shopping with them. [...]

Samsung has a lot rich colors, which is very important. It has 70,000: 1 dynamic contrast ration where as Sony 32S5100 has 30,000:1. Believe me I can clearly see the difference. Even the non hi-def channels look great in this lcd. Buy it over any other 60Hz lcd, you wont be disappointed.
