Auto Motion Plus 120 Hz technology renders the smoothest most lifelike action you can see on a TV. The 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio means you'll see detail in both the brightest and darkest parts of an image.

This is a fabulous TV. I waited a long long time before upgrading to a flat panel HDTV and did tons of homework. Samsung clearly has the best TVs out there. The LNB650 has a crystal clear image. You'll want to fiddle around with the settings to get the brightness, contrast etc just right for your room, but that's easy to do. Audio is passable. If you care a lot about the sound quality you'll probably want to invest $200 or more in a sound bar, but that's par for the course for these TVs. Remote control is perfectly adequate. When you watch HD channels with an hdmi connection the result is astounding. I was considering paying a lot more for one of the new LED TVs, but I saw one of those at a friend's house and honestly the difference in clarity was not enough to justify paying twice as much. If you look at the two TVs side by side you'd obviously notice a difference, but when I sit at home watching this TV I cannot imagine the image being any sharper.

While I have only had this set for a short time I can see the picture is fantastic. I would much prefer the set had actual buttons to turn on and off volume etc rather than the 'touch' controls near the bottom also no S video jack puzzled me as that was how I got the old cable box hooked in I guess they assume all users are updated with HD cable service. People who get this unit will not be disappointing I am very pleased.

This tv is so easy to use but still has so many options. Samsung made it very intuitive. The resolution is amazing and so clear. My only complaint is that I should have gotten the 46" instead of the 40"
