This is the first TV I've purchased, the previous one was a hand-me-down CRT from the 1980s. I chose this one based on reviews - it was highly rated for quality on [@]. Setting it up was a piece of cake, the swivel stand is a nice feature. We use Time Warner cable. I pretty much did all the channel programming and setup from the onscreen menus without reading the manual, so it had to be straightforward. The control for turning on/off or adjusting the "Auto Motion Plus" feature is buried down a few levels in the menus. As for picture and sound quality, I've been very impressed/pleased.

The only negative I thought was putting the stand together could have been a bit better.
