Purchased this TV about 1 year ago. Had problems with TV screen going black. Samsung customer services is HORRIBLE. It is going on 2 months and I still have not gotten my problem resolved. Customer Service does not follow through on anything. Still waiting for replacement TV. I would not recommend buying anything from Samsung!!!!

I ordered this TV over the holidays, around black Friday, and got it with samsung bd-4600 bluray player for 1078. With the bd player, I thought it was worth price, however the bundle doesnt add any discounts, as its actualy about the same price purchasing the two separately (assuming you shop around)

Back to the TV, the HD picture appears sharper and more detailed than the Toshiba 42" its replacing, and the size is great for the tight corner it fills in my room. My main complaint is when you change inputs, the input menu stays up for like 30 seconds, unless you click exit. Lastly, when you mute, the mute symbol appears on screen until you un-mute (you might be able to disable this, but not sure yet), annoying if you use a stereo or something sometimes. There is a info-link thing if you connect the tv to the internet, but doesnt seem to be anything special, shows weather, news, stocks, but than it overlaps whatever your watching so you have to back to the menu to turn it off or on.

Using a samsung BD player (or other device I'm assuming), the TV will automatically turn on and off the device when you change to that input, or if you turn on the device, it will change to the input automatically.

We bought this TV to place in our entertainment center on our main floor. We use the TV for family viewing and when the neighbors come over to watch sports. We love the clarity and the easy setup and installation. We were able to setup, configure and watch our first show in less than 10 minutes!! We have not found anything that we dislike about the TV. It definetly lives up to all the reviews we read.

My husband calls it a 4B, Big, Beautiful, Bold and Black. I did a lot of research reading reviews and we were not disappointed. The picture is really sharp and almost too bright. We have found that the natural, standard or movie modes are easier on the eyes and look much more natural. For blueray, the brighter the better! Setup was quick and with HD channels and blue ray, the entire picture is utilized. Even the regular cable channels are clear. The sound is O.K. better than most tv's but not as good as surround sound which we will probably add. Beautiful style and love the pivoting stand. Havent quite worked out the remotes and they are a little slow in response. Blue ray is stunning and sharp but we find most hd movies look equally great. Very happy with this tv, we cant wait to get home now and watch it. I really dont see the benefit of using the 120 hz motion feature and could have probably gotten away with the cheaper 60 hz since we dont use it for gaming or sports. Have wanted a new flat panel for years and this tv was worth the wait.

High quality TV. Purchased one for a upgraded townhome in Del Mar California and now have a second one in my office here in Colorado. My office has become the place for the family to watch TV

I looked at Samsung's whole line before settling on this model. I chose the 630 line because it was the best Samsung LCD model to have the matte finish screen. The 120Hz and its anti-blur & anti-judder adjustments allow you to customize your viewing experience to optimize movies, sports, TV, etc.
