From its elegant piano black finish to its SRS TruSurround HD audio system it's obvious the Samsung LN52B530 is no ordinary HDTV. It's got three HDMI v1.3 ports, enough for both a Blu-ray disc player and a gaming console with one left over. It's also got both composite and component video inputs but it's what it does with the input that seals the deal.
With a 60,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, this TV displays rich, saturated colors without losing detail in darker parts of the picture. Its 6 ms response time virtually eliminates motion blur in fast moving scenes. And it remembers your settings for each input so you don't have to fiddle with them once you've got them tuned to your liking.
The sleep timer will turn the set off so you can drift off to sleep while watching the late movie and it can wake you up to your favorite morning program.

I looked at review after review and kept comparing Samsung and Sony. I finally just decided that the picture quality was best with the Samsung. I ordered, it was delivered, set up was easy, TV is great--wonderful HD picture. Even in a very well lit room with no window coverings the picture is great and minimum glare
