Swann SW248-LM8 8" LCD Security Monitor
A small monitor offers the perfect solution for space constricted surveillance areas. With its excellent image quality and ultra slim profile, the Swann SW248-LM8 will provide you with comfortable viewing of camera images while taking up very little room on your desk or tabletop.
With its two RCA inputs, you can use the monitor to view two of your CCTV cameras, one at a time in full screen. Switching between camera views can be done manually using front panel buttons or the remote control, or by setting the monitor to auto switch at timed intervals.

I purchased this unit to replace a similar item from the same company that had gone out after 2 years of use. This item is used to monitor a closed circuit video feed we have at our business. The first unit I received had a problem with the screen. You could not even read the menu screens built into the unit. I followed the instructions and called the manufacturer to get assistance. The man I talked to told me the power adapter I was using did not have enough amperage to power the unit. I told him that I was using the power adapter that shipped with the unit. He then told me to send the unit back to the vender for a replacement. The second one I got in is working as it should so far.

I purchased this monitor to replace the burnt-out Clearvu8 monitor which came with my SVAT video security system several years ago. Perfect plug and play replacement. Nothing to adjust or change. Video definition and color are as good or better than the original equipment monitor. Just the right size for desk-top monitoring, which is how I use it. Probably too small for wall mounted monitor. Controls are on the sides of the screen, rather than at the bottom, as depicted in the picture. This makes the unit slightly wider than the Clearvu8. Fully adjustable stand is better than the Clearvu8 stand. Looks a little better than the Clearvu8.

Nice monitor but the video quality is not great. Features are nice and easy to use. I would spend a bit more next time and get one with a better quality image.
