The camera's hybrid recording also allows for storage of additional video and stills to Sony's own Memory Stick PRO Duo media, which makes for easy uploading to your computer for editing or sharing.
The SR87's Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens comes with 25x optical zoom and SteadyShot image stabilization for detailed, clear image capture. In addition, the 2.7" wide touch panel LCD features zoom and record controls on the frame and 270° of rotation, which makes for hassle-free composition and playback.
Other helpful recording features include the Easy Handycam Button and one-touch disk burn functions. The DCR-SR87 gives you multiple storage options and user-friendly features that take the complication out of home movie making.
