The HDX 16-1140US Notebook Computer from Hewlett-Packard is a 16" widescreen notebook with a 16:9 aspect ratio display. Designed with entertainment in mind, the notebook features an HDMI port for HDTV connectivity.
The system is powered by a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8600 and boasts 4GB of RAM, a 500GB 5400rpm SATA hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner, wireless Ethernet, and a 16" widescreen display powered by nVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics. Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit) is the platform that ties all this hardware and software together.

this notebook is great has a great processor and graphics card. It is fast and speakers sound great, the fingerprint reader is a plus and makes it easier to log on to sites. The battery life is short, about 2hrs on power saver and less than 1 on high performance but for what it has its worth it.
