Comments about Glidecam GLHDSDB Docking Bracket for Stabilizers:
Once you start putting a lot of weight on your stabilizer and get the vest w/ arm, this docking bracket and the C Stand are a must buy. If you're spending the dough on the vest and arm you might as well spend the extra money on a docking station for it.
Helps when you are balancing your rig.
Better for the unit.
Looks really cool.
You can also hang your vest on it.

Comments about Glidecam GLHDSDB Docking Bracket for Stabilizers:
The docking bracket is an aid to balancing the Glidecam during initial setup and makes forward/backward balance when changing lenses a snap. The worst thing about the bracket is it's cost. And no you don't really need it. IMHO, for as cheap as it is to make, and as handy as it is to have, it should be included in the purchase price. Including it would reduce the bad press the Glidecam gets and put a smile on many Glidecam users faces.

Comments about Glidecam GLHDSDB Docking Bracket for Stabilizers:
It is outragous what Glidecam charges for this chunk of metal needed to more easily balance their units. [...] Just so this doesn't entirely sound like sour grapes, I own a Glidecam X-10 arm & vest along with and HD-4000 and HD-2000 and am generally happy with those purchases. Please stop gauging your customers, Glidecam.

Comments about Glidecam GLHDSDB Docking Bracket for Stabilizers:
After trying to balance my new Glidecam HD2000 "manually", I finally decided to order this. I should have ordered this sooner -- makes it MUCH easier to do the balancing. I also plan to take it on shoots for docking the Glidecam. IMHO, it should be an included accessory with the HD2000, just like it already is included with the HD4000.
