I am using this amp with an Airport Express and Niles CM760 speakers in my bedroom. The power output is clean and strong. The bass and treble controls are unusually useful and placed at very good frequencies. This thing is made of steel, not plastic, and built like a tank. The power supply is internal which is great... no wall wort! If your looking for a compact, high power, well built amplifier... look no further. However, nothing is perfect, and the LED level indicators on the front panel are ridiculously bright, quite annoying, and don't signal clipping!#$%?. Simple "signal" and "clip" indicators would be great.[...].

Well why would one buy this kind of amplifier in this price range? Most likely one would buy this guy for the reasons I bought it, because there are some pretty good speakers sitting in the basement and more than a few laptop and MP3 playing devices scattered around the upper stories. Or maybe you're about to go to a new school or a new duty station and you figure you can get speakers anywhere but you don't want to lug your old ones with you. And for that this little amp is very handy. It's got just about enough capability to irritate off your new room mate, rattle the Salvation Army speakers you just got for twenty bucks, and it can remind you of better times gone by or better times to come. It gives you a bit of treble and bass control and beats the bejeezus out of most of what comes out of computer speakers. But for fidelity, for some serious listening, for a cantata or a concerto and your aging Klipsch corner horns you may find this amp a little disappointing. If you want the kind of sound that convinces you you're really in the swamp with the birds and the frogs, or if you're driving speakers that tell you the war is all around you, you're going to have to spend some more money on a more serious amplifier. The PCA3 doesn't pretend to be that kind of amp. My speakers were good enough that I was expecting just a bit more accuracy. But until I'm ready to spend about 20 times more for an amplifier I'll have some fun with this guy.

I am powering 2 ceiling speakers in meeting room and have had two of these crud out on me in less that a year. Utility-wise, these are great for what we needed, but need to work of course.

I hooked it up to an apple express wifi and streamed music to my basement and back patio. The sound was very nice and plenty loud for casual listening. Note the 75w rating is peak power so don't expect to power a mega house party with this model.

Bought to run a pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers w/ an iPod as a portable system for the yard/garage/and patio. Works great, sound is clean, amp is powerful, and has all the necessary features for a simple system.

This is a great unit. Due to the size I wasn't sure how well it would work. It is fantastic, could not have been better at twice the price. [...]

Comments about Pyle Pro PCA3 Mini 2 x 75W Stereo Power Amplifier:
I purchased this amp to power my home studio monitors. I didn't need anything very loud and wanted an amp that was simple. Sound is clear with no buzz or hum. Lights are a little annoying. My monitors are only 6", but can handle up to 300 a piece, and this little guy fills them out nicely. The great thing is if it goes out on me, I simply throw it away and buy another one. Construction is very solid. Bottom line is "it is, what it is" If your looking for something to blow the roof off your house and all the bells and whistles, then this one is not for you. Now if your looking for an affordable, good sounding, compact, decent amp, then looki into this one.

We use this amp to power 4 8ohm 6 inch speakers in the ceiling of a motion picture theater lobby. It amplifies the output from a Music Distrubtion card and sounds just as good as the [$] amp that it replaced.
Comments about Pyle Pro PCA3 Mini 2 x 75W Stereo Power Amplifier:
it's really a 15W x 2 device, but that sort of generous rating is so commonplace in audio you can't fault them for this peak measurement. I have it hooked up to some pretty puny speakers and it's still plenty loud for my garage. Would be nice to have an input selector, and I'd much rather a tuner than the useless LED vu meter. But for the price it's great, may get more for the rest of the house

Bought this amp to power some non-powered studio monitors I had gotten for my desktop editing system. [...] Easy setup with regular 12 gauge wire. Great sound and controls. Very solid amp. The sound is great and crisp!

Comments about Pyle Pro PCA3 Mini 2 x 75W Stereo Power Amplifier:
Recently, I purchased 4 of these PCA3s for a sound art gallery installation to drive a series of DIY speaker objects embedded in a sculptural element and found the small amps to more than efficient. This was a great find, as many of the amps I reviewed were too expensive, too bulky and or not powerful enough. The PCA3 amps are built like a "Hummer," compact solid outer shell with adequate audio controls. The amp's power supply is housed inside of the casing so there are no bulky power supply plugs. The only downside is the inability to control the individual audio channels.

Comments about Pyle Pro PCA3 Mini 2 x 75W Stereo Power Amplifier:
For the price, I got what I expected with this amp. Was only looking for one to pair with a tuner for tunes in my workshop, not concert level audiophile sounds, and it works fine. The 75W rating is misleading; 15W/channel is more accurate. But for background music, I don't even turn it up enough to light the power level LEDs (which are indeed WAY too bright). If you want zero distortion and booming bass, you'll need to go with something with more power, but for lower volumes, this gives you your money's worth.

I'm using this to drive a pair of BIC Venturi DV-32B speakers in my computer set-up. Though small, the BICs are heavy and need sufficient power to deliver thier amazingly good bass. When my old Technics receiver died (formerly assigned to this duty), I looked for something cheaper without unneeded features. This does the job nicely. Compact, adequate clean power. I was just a bit disappointed that the rubber feet were not cemented securely; one apparently came off during packaging and was missing. Had to replace it with one lying around.

I don't expect to drive the amp to it's capacity and so stay well within its linearity. Its compact size and controls are fine. I use it from my pc earphone jack with an adapter. Works just fine for my JVC shelf speakers.
