The Aurora Multimedia WACI-NX+E2 is a powerful non-proprietary IP control system. This control system is a web server whose web pages operate as a Control Interface. This interface will operate equipment controlled via IR, RS232/422/485, Telnet, relays or I/Os.
- Access
- WACI is accessed through any web browser running on a wired or wireless Ethernet network and requires no special software.
- Equipment Control
- Numerous RS232/422/485, IR, relay and DSP control ports are available, and a robust IR learner is standard. WACI can support the simplicity of the most powerful universal IR remote in the world, or it can be the heart of a complex, networked, worldwide asset management and control system.
- Expansion Capability
- The WACI NX expansion bus allows hard disk storage, battery backup features, streaming audio/video, and additional ports.
- Browser Compatibility
- Compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, Netscape Navigator, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari web browsers.
- Security
- Built-in network security features include encryption and password protected multiple access levels with intelligent remote telnet capabilities.
- Programming
- Programming is as easy as writing web pages with off-the-shelf content creation applications such as Macromedia Flash, HTML, DHTML, SOAP, XML, CGI, RPC, and Visual Basic.
