The PRO-D-DSP-17 Stage Pro17 from Prompter People is a professional presentation package that includes everything you need to start prompting. It includes (2) presentation prompters designed for use in speaking engagements, such as conferences, lectures, board meetings, and press conferences, among many other possible work environments & applications.
The package features 17" LCD monitors with both VGA and composite video inputs. A special mounting system allows the monitors to be placed at floor level at the base of the stands, hidden from the audience to which the presenter is speaking. Prompting scripts are reflected in the beamsplitter glass at the top of the stand, allowing the presenter to read text while it remains virtually invisible to the audience. If need be, the monitors can also be raised to obtain a brighter picture yet remain hidden by using the included skirting.
The base of the stands features a triangular shape to help prevent tipping. The height of the glass can be adjusted up to 7', which allows you to customize the system for any speaker. Adjustments are made with an aluminum-machined clamp with a geared thumbscrew and angle adjustments. Prompting scripts are sent to both monitors at the same time with the include 1x2 VGA distribution amplifier.
This package also includes several software applications that enhance its performance. Flip-Q Pro is a full-featured prompting application that allows you to manage prompting scripts with most PC or Mac computers that feature dual-monitor output. PowerFlip is an application that allows you to convert Microsoft PowerPoint presentation into prompting scripts.
