Rolls MX22s Mini Mix - Line Mixer
The MX22s from Rolls is a small, 2-channel audio mixer. It has two inputs, channel 1 being a stereo mini-plug input, and channel 2 being a stereo RCA input. Both inputs are for line-level sources (not microphone inputs). There are level controls for both channels, and two separate outputs, one being stereo mini-plug and the other stereo RCA.
The MX22s is a great problem solver in many different applications. It can help when you're plugging devices into a home entertainment system, and you have more devices than inputs on your A/V receiver. You can plug both a CD player and the output of an MP3 player into the MX22s, and mix them both into a single input on the home entertainment system.
If you have a wireless microphone system where the receiver can output a line-level signal (like the Sennheiser Evolution series), then you can mix a microphone and a CD player into a single input. The output of the MX22s can be plugged into a PA system, a home entertainment system, a powered speaker, and any line-level input.

Perfect for mixing a couple of stereo audio sources together. Note that this is in fact a stereo product, despite the device packaging (!!) saying that the sources are "mixed to mono." Rolls produced a version previously called the MX22A which was mono. This product has a switch accessible from a hole in the side of the case that allows you to select mono or stereo mode.
This product is best for an installation. If you're looking for a mixer that supports speakers and headphones, you'll want the separate output and headphone volume controls found on the MX28.

Two channels in a nice small package. This sits on top of the table and you hardly notice it. Use channel 2 (1/8" connector) to the laptop and channel 1 RCA input for an additional device during presentations and such. Great to balance out the volume on two devices.
