The Energizer Compact Charger with 4 AA is an ultra-compact unit that is quick and easy to use. Throw it in your gear bag, keep it in your studio, car, boat - wherever. This system will charge 2 or 4 rechargeable NiMH "AA" or "AAA" batteries in up to 2 hours.
The Energy Star unit comes with a status indicator to give you an idea of how the charge is progressing.

If you don't need international compatibility, you can't go wrong. Very quick AAA charge; very reasonable AA charge, especially with two units working. Compact, and easy to stash in an ever-cramped photo bag. You pay about $5 for this charger, after you deduct the value of the batteries included! I burn six sets of AA in about five hours on two chargers.
