Rarely will you find a CCTV camera that can match the light sensitivity levels of the Ikegami KIT-49 PRO. Its 0.0075 lux rating means that it can see in virtual darkness. And unlike IR enhanced cameras, images are of exceptionally good quality, with minimal amounts of noise and with virtually no glow or blooming affects. This level of night vision serves to complement the camera's excellent picture resolution of 570 lines generated by a 1/2" CCD. Amazingly, Ikegami was able to pack all of this power inside an ultra compact enclosure. This way, you can easily pair it with an outdoor housing and use this highly sensitive camera to monitor an outdoor location that remains dark for a good part of a 24-hour cycle. Because of these attributes, Ikegami has also seen many of its customers integrate this camera inside ATM machines.
- Super High Sensitivity
- A 0.0075 lux rating is truly a rarity among CCTV cameras. Through the use of a 1/2" B/W CCD along with advanced electronic controls, this camera is able to pick up light in the near infrared wave spectrum (800nm to 1000nm), which translates into a light sensitivity level 5 times that of conventional IT CCD cameras.
- Low Smear Level
- A low smear level of -120dB reduces the light streaks and halos that often accompany bright points of light in an otherwise darker image - a good example being a vehicle's headlights at night. Without those obscuring elements, you'll have an easier time identifying people and objects in the vicinity of that light source.
- Backlight Compensation
- An advanced BLC function automatically activates in scenes where the subject matter is brightly lit from behind. By eliminating this silhouetting effect, you'll be able to view those objects in greater detail.
- 10-Year Warranty On Camera
- Yes you heard right, Ikegami provides a 10-year warranty for this camera, a time period unheard of in the CCTV industry. And they also make it easy to register multiple cameras on the same registration page.
