The Garner HDTD-8800 Large Format Degausser is a high-capacity degausser that can handle a heavy load of all tape formats, laptops, and hard drives. This unit will permanently remove data from the source and save you money on having to buy additional media. The HDTD-8800 will erase any format of magnetic media up to 2.5 x 14 x 12.5" (HLW) including laptop computers.
This easy to use machine does not require extensive training and can be used by those who are non-technical. Within two minutes, the tape is erased. Merely open the unit's tray, slide the media in, push the "Start" button, and the HDTD-8800 will do the rest.
If your company is dealing with sensitive material that needs to be destroyed after a certain amount of time, a Garner Degausser is an indispensable addition to your inventory.
Note! Hard drives will not be able to be re-used, but tape media such as DLT, SDLT & AIT will be able to be re-used
