Take the incredibly lightweight MHS-CM1 Webbie HD Camera (Eggplant) with you everywhere to capture all the crazy things your friends do and more. This high definition camera records in the MP4 format, which means all your video and still images will upload easily for emailing and posting to social networking sites.
And the MHS-CM1 has your back with a 5MP CMOS sensor that records up to 8.5 hours of incredible images - still or video - to a 16GB Memory Stick. Not only that, but the 5x digital zoom gives you the power to record far off action with clarity.
In addition, the camera's 2.5" swivel LCD rotates up to 270° which makes it ideal for self-recording and capturing video from normally hard to view angles. Other fun features like an LED video light give you the ability to shoot video at night while individual "Movie" and "Still" buttons help keep things simple.

Comments about Sony Webbie HD MHS-CM1 High Definition Camcorder (Eggplant):
This camera makes a great picture in any of the 3 formats. I've used it for family shots and have mounted it on my motorcycle for memorable roads.
At this price, if it breaks, not a real big deal.

Comments about Sony Webbie HD MHS-CM1 High Definition Camcorder (Eggplant):
I use it to film rescued dogs for a website. Easy to operate - best results in bright light. easy to upload or convert for making into movies. I use it on a PC. Can also take 5 megapixel stills but be sure you hear the click and see the image or you may not have taken a picture. I recommend it.

Comments about Sony Webbie HD MHS-CM1 High Definition Camcorder (Eggplant):
This camcorder is very easy to use. Just flip open the LCD screen and it's ready to go in a few seconds. If you're looking to put some point-and-shoot videos on the web quickly and easily, the Sony Webbie HD does the job. But don't expect it it to compete with higher end HD camcorders. It's a decent package for [$]. The HD video looks pretty good in well-lit conditions. I don't recommend using it in low-light. The on-board mic does an okay job, but tends to distort a bit when picking up louder sounds. Files record compressed, in mp4 format. This makes it very easy to get your videos on your computer, or even directly onto your favorite video-sharing website. Record time however is limited to 25 minutes per file. I've heard of some people having trouble with video and audio not syncing up, but I personally have not run into this problem.Overall, I think this camcorder is a good buy for people who want quick, easy to shoot, easy to upload video. My wife loves it because it's very compact, and very simple to use. Great for the casual user. The more pro-sumer types will be dissappointed though. Think of it as a good competitor to the Flip Mino HD with 5x optical zoom as an added feature.
