Bushnell's Legend Ultra HD Spotting Scope offers much of the abilities of the super-premium Elite scope at a price most enthusiasts can afford. The most important of these shared attributes is the objective element of extra-low (ED) dispersion glass, which goes a long way towards improving rendering subtle detail at higher magnifications and in high contrast viewing situations. The Legend Ultra HD has Bushnell's water and oil repelling Rainguard HD external coating, which won't even allow your breath to put fog on the lens.
The 50mm class of Legend Ultra HD scopes embody the best of the newest generation of super-compact spotters, perfect for most nature observation and even some digiscoping use in bright light. They're small enough to tote along with a binocular doing primary duty, and perfect for use from a car window. The 50mm Legend can even be handheld for a bit at its lower magnifications, something the full size scopes cannot come close to doing practically.
As the angled viewing version of the 50mm Legend Ultra HD scope, this offers the most comfortable experience when sharing the scope amongst a group, and is generally regarded as being less tiring to use for a long observing session. An angled scope is ideally suited to digiscoping, and Bushnell offers a great universal digiscoping adapter, but does require more experience to quickly locate subjects.

Comments about Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 2.0"/50mm Spotting Scope Kit:
I like this spotting scope for its small size and ease of use. I'm using it primarily for spotting birds and it does the job just fine. There is a very nice wrap around hand holder included that makes this scope quite versatile. If you need a bigger scope than this one, go for it, but for my uses it's perfect. I'd recommend this to anyone. It's not great for photos, but then it wasn't designed for that job, although point and shoot cameras work perfectly well with this item. Good solid product.

Comments about Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 2.0"/50mm Spotting Scope Kit:
Very nice and compact, with excellent image quality. Easy to use, too, with a nice protective case, and even a wrist strap for hand held use. Eye cup seems a little big and stiff, but I'm getting used to it (and perhaps it'll soften over time). Overall, I'd recommend this scope highly.
