I bought it as a gift for my son who is 9 years old and likes to take pictures and movie snippets. It is easy to use for him.
Great screen. No other camera beats it in that price range. For kids they like to show the pictures and films directly on the screen so that was really important. Battery life is great too ( haven't needed to recharge yet).
Flash is perhaps a bit weak, which shows if there is a distance of >15 feet to the subject.
