When the folks at Sony designed the Sony Cyber-shot T90 Digital Camera they somehow managed to comfortably squeeze a 12.1 megapixel (1/2.3") Super HAD CCD imaging sensor and a Carl Zeiss-designed 4x (35 - 140 mm equivalent) power zoom into a sleekly designed brushed aluminum body that measures a mere 5/8" thick. As icing on the cake they tossed in 720p HD video capture with stereo sound. Are we having fun yet or what?
The camera's 3.0" Clear Photo LCD touch-screen display enables you to control all of the cameras functions by simply tapping on the menu screens, and there's an impressive selection of exposure and scene mode selections including an Easy Shooting Mode for those wishing to keep things nice and simple. There are also numerous in-camera retouching tools available for enhancing your pictures post-capture.
Still images can be captured at 8 levels of JPEG compression and video with stereo sound at 3 levels of image compression to best fit your needs. To further enhance your pictures, the Cyber-T90 has a PHOTOMUSIC feature, which combines music and a selection of visual effects into your still image slideshows and video clips.
For admiring your pictures on a grander scale, you can output images at sizes up to and exceeding 13x19", or view them in high-definition on a Sony BRAVIA or similarly compatible HDTV using the optional VMC-MHC2 HD output adapter cable.
The Sony Cyber-shot T90 is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which is good for about 200 images (or about 100 minutes of video), and along with 11MB of internal memory, records images onto Memory Stick PRO and Memory Stick DUO PRO (up to 16GB) media.

I love this camera! I had the first Sony cybershot and decided to upgrade. This is so much better. Only thing is it is not durable. It fell off my bed and the screen was shot. I liked the camera so much I bought another one same model. The touch screen is easy to navigate and the smile function is excellent. It is most helpful in taking candid shots just point and as soon as it sees a smile it takes the picture! Battery life is also excellent and I like the fact that you do not have to plug in the whole camera to charge the battery which was a feature of the old cybershot. This is a great upgrade but would reccommend adding a little padding as the camera is small and if a woman can drop it I can only imagine how a man would feel as it is very small. The video feature is awesome although the speaker quality is not the best.

After wife and I agreed to have a handy easy to use point-n-shoot camera, I started searching and came across this flat-tiny digi cam from Sony. Also had a considerably big - 8GB Memory StickPro-Duo card waiting in my collection. Putting it together made it possible to own this nice n cool gadget!
Pictures - So far, the results are nice. Remarkable difference between this camera and Canon (I have this since last 3 yrs.) is color accuracy. Vibrant colors, in good light condition set this camera apart from the crowd. The pictures can be taken in various formats including Hi-Res - HDTV compatible (9 MP max) which is really the best way to watch your snaps on that big HDTV you have. The face detection is useful and works good. Also liked the 'auto' macro (close-ups) shooting mode. It's effortless!
Video - This was one more reason to buy this camera from Sony. That 720P smooth video you shoot plays straight and look nice on the PS3+HDTV setup. Just remove MemoryStick and insert in PS3 card reader, the videos are so easy now, to shoot as well as to watch!
Handling - The touch functionality works, but don't expect it as smooth as iphone/itouch. Be a little bold to press icons on the screen! The size and shape is good to carry the camera but make it a bit hard to hold/aim while shooting. Especially if you are rushing to take the snaps.
Overall - If you have decent budget, need attractive camera with good Video capability with stylish touch control, this is it my friends!

Smaller and lighter than my older Sony camera, but the viewing screen is at least as big as the old one because it's a touch screen. Takes great photos, though, and as always I love having the rechargeable batteries. I also love the stabilization feature. Overall a great camera for a great price.

This was a gift for my boyfriend - but I use it all the time. We mostly take pictures of family and friends while we are hanging out or at family events. It gets A LOT of use! He especially likes he becuase he can put it in his jeans pocket and it isn't bulky and stick out to far. The touch screen is also a great feature. Very easy to use and understand. It now comes in great colors. We have the black! HOT! We would definately recommend this camera for all picture takers!!!

Comments about Sony DSC-T90 Cyber-shot Digital Camera (Black):
The product would be replacing our previous point and shoot camera. For newer one, the requirements were clear, should be good looking, fast to capture photos and startup, take good pictures should be very compact and touchscreen. Compared T90, Nikon S70, S60, Panasonic fx550. T90 won the comparo owing to its performance, sleek looks, good touchscreen interface, good image quality.
The good things i liked about it were, image quality, performance, compact and stylish, HD video looks awesome.
The bad things , the cover for lens attracts fingerprints, so does screen. is very lightweight and small so need to handle with care. haven't yet tested battery life, but should be at par for a touchscreen.

[...]DSC-T90 is a new experience, because is my first digital camera with battery and touch screen. The smile detector is wonderful. This camera is fast and I love. And the other positive point is mobility.Excelent Picture Quality (12.4 megapixels)Negative Point: Black Piano is beautiful but leave mark of fingers.
