iZotope Ozone 4 - Mastering Software
Ozone 4 from iZotope is software that combines 7 mastering processors into a single plug-in, allowing a user to complete projects without the use of additional applications. Combining all the processors into a single interface also allows Ozone to maintain the highest-quality processing throughout the signal chain.
Mastering processors include iZotope's IRC (Intelligent Release Control) Loudness Maximizer that is able to provide commercially required volume levels and fullness without distorting or coloring the mix. An 8-band Paragraphic EQ combines linear phase precision with the character of analog equalizers and allows for intelligently matching a mix to chosen reference tracks.
Multiband Dynamics, Harmonic Exciter and Stereo Imaging tools add depth and polish to projects, while Mid/Side processing allows for isolating the "middle" and "sides" of a mix and manipulating these to enhance either part. Global Amounts control allow the user to adjust each of the modules in Ozone 4 with a simple slider to, for example, dial in more aggressive or subtler EQ curves, or adjust dynamics.

if you love music and have a good ear, this is the best product out there. There are so many different aspects to this software and what it will allow you to do to find that perfect sound, this is not enough room to list them all. I can say once you get over the learning curve you will wonder how you lived without.

Ozone 4 is awesome! the factory presets are great and the tweaking your sound is made a little easier to do. There is a lot of stuff one can learn to make bigger changes. but just for the factory presets, this is worth every penny. why pay someone else to do it when you can do it right in your own studio. I'm getting great feed back from my final mixes that i have used with ozone 4. Awesome!
