The Bushnell PinSeeker 1600 rangefinder has brilliant optics and a measuring range that's simply enormous, from 5-1600 yards! This makes it quite useful for golfers. Though your maximum range will vary from many factors (including the angle of incidence to the target, the target's reflectivity, and the ambient lighting conditions), the PinSeeker 1600 will always give the best range of any Bushnell unit.
The PinSeeker 1600's observing modes include the PinSeeker mode, which ignores objects behind the pin, as well as a scanning mode which gives continuously-updated readings.
Optics are fully multicoated for wonderful resolution and contrast. The PinSeeker 1600 is Bushnell's flagship model and it shows. This is the "tournament" version of the PinSeeker 1600 rangefinder, which has no built-in inclinometer. As it does not use calculations to aid the golfer's estimation of playing distance, it conforms to the USGA rules for legal distance-measuring devices in tournament play (as defined in the 2006 '14-3/0.5 Local Rule Permitting Use of Distance-Measuring Device').

There's a reason why Bushnell's laser rangefinders are so popular on the PGA Tour, and that's because they work

Comments about Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder:
The rangefinder worked great. Easy to use and very accurate. Compared it with my golf buddy's Skycaddie. The bushnell was right on the money. Only thing with the Skycaddie, you have to guess where the pin is on the green. Any pin approximately 200 yards or more was a little difficult to hit, but can be done. Would definately recommend to anyone.

Comments about Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder:
Easy to use, accurate, makes the Golf Game move faster by not searching for yardage markers. I play with some guys that use GPS units and watch them trying to read the screens in bright sunlight. This unit is easy to read and much less complicated than the GPS units. By the time they remember how to use their toy's I am done and moving on.

Comments about Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder:
Playing golf is Southwest FL can be challenging as surprisingly few courses use a lot of distance markers/GPS. After research, I decided on Bushnell 1600 and I have not been disappointed. It is solid, easy to use and seems to be quite accurate. The laser feature is the best. I have noted some user comments about lack of steadiness but with a little practice this is easily overcome.

Better than GPS. Able to get distances not only to the pin but to hazards and landmarks.

I'm a 10 HDCP and this has helped more than the GPS units. It give accurate measurements to the flag. Love it.

Comments about Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder:
I previously had a Callaway LR 550 with Nikon Optics, and that is the basis of my comparison. The Bushnel optics are outstanding. But, there nearest target logic is not as good as the Callaway. And also, you need a much steadier hand to hold the Bushnell. Apparently the capture field for the nearest target is much smaller than the Callaway. The Bushnell is also slower to register the range.

Comments about Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder:
This is my second rangefinder of this model; my last was Elite 1500. Some nice improvement on the 1600 over predecessor: better grip, attached battery cap (though still pops open at times). Didn't care for the bulky case with waist wraparound belt (what geek would be caught dead with it on?) Put device in plastic freezer bag and easier to stow in golf bag to keep out dirt. With 7x it makes a nice binocular with very clear lenses.

Comments about Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder:
I typically play golf at a couse that has GPS system on the golf cart. However, it has limited value during the rainny season when carts are limited to the cart paths. In addtion the GPS does not give the correct distance to the pin. The rangefinder does the trick. Now I just need it to improve my swing and I will be ready for the tour.

Easy to use, does not require charging, can carry an extra battery in your bag, works on every golf course in the world, no annual subscription fee,
water proof, bright large easy to read numbers.
What more can one say.
Originally as a biginner golfer I could play with three clubs. Now I understand how each club has a defined distance range. If you do not know the distance using the wrong club is very easy. Having to run around looking for a mark on a sprinkler is no longer needed.
Great toy for any boy or girl.

This range finder is simple to operate. The best feature is its ability to pick up the flag from long distances, even when the flag is limp.
